Rickshaw Driver Murdered by Stabbing with a Screwdriver

(PCB): A rickshaw driver was murdered by being stabbed with a screwdriver. The incident occurred on Sunday (6th) around 8 PM in Chinchwad. The deceased rickshaw driver has been identified as Mir Maqbool Khan (age 34, resident of Vetalnagar slum, Chinchwad). In connection with the case, Daulat Maqbool Khan (age 31) has lodged a complaint at Chinchwad Police Station. Based on this, a case has been registered against Yashwant Atmaram Bagade (resident of Walhekarwadi, Chinchwad).

According to police reports, Amir Khan was driving a rickshaw in the Chinchwad area. Around 8 PM, he had a dispute with the accused near Vijay country liquor shop in Chinchwad. Local residents tried to intervene and resolve the argument, but the accused allegedly stabbed Amir with a screwdriver. Due to severe injuries, Amir died on the spot. The Chinchwad police are investigating the case.
