Former BJP Corporators and Office Bearers Demand NCP Candidate for Chinchwad Assembly Seat

The BJP has said it will not campaign for the Chinchwad Assembly seat if the NCP does not get the seat. More than 40 former corporators and office bearers of the party have strongly demanded that the NCP should get the seat of Chinchwad Assembly constituency.

More than 40 former corporators and office bearers of the party have strongly demanded that the NCP should get the seat of Chinchwad Assembly constituency. The BJP will not campaign under any circumstances, otherwise it was decided to choose another option. He said he would meet Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to discuss the issue.

The special meeting was held at Blue Water Hotel in Pune in the presence of 40 people including grandmothers, former corporators and office bearers. At a press conference a week ago, Mayur Kalate, Prashant Shitole, Moreshwar Bhondwe and Vinod Nadhe had made the same demand at a press conference. Later, he held a meeting with all the former MPs and MLAs of the district. After receiving a huge response, he held a separate meeting today.

Nana Kate, Prashant Shitole, Mayur Kalate, Moreshwar Bhondwe, Satish Darekar, Asha Suryavanshi, Atul Shitole, Manoj Khanolkar, Pragya Khanolkar, Santosh Kokane, Vinod Nadhe, Rajendra Salunkhe, Nilesh Doke, Haribhau Tikone, Kailash Barne, Usha Kale, Rajendra Jagtap, Sushna Tanpure Madam, Khule-Rahtani, Sham Jagtap, Bapu Katle, Mauli Suryavanshi, Dilip, Kale Mahila President Sou. Among those present on the occasion were Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menon and many others.

In the meeting, it was expressed how the NCP workers were in trouble due to the BJP having a seat and the effect of which was feared in the upcoming municipal elections. We do not want to sign the lotus symbol in the assembly and will not campaign for the BJP. They all demanded that the candidate should wear a watch.

NCP will get Chinchwad assembly seat. A candidate has to do his job. BJP will not field any candidate. It was also said that Ajit will make such requests again and again and if justice is not delivered even after that, the option is ready.

Nana Kate, Mayur Kalate, Prashant Shitole, Atul Shitole, Rajendra Jagtap, Meera Kadam guided the participants.

Meanwhile, the BJP has decided to field Shankar Seth Jagtap as its candidate in Chinchwad.
