Ajit Pawar: We Have Waived Farmers' Electricity Bills; Zero Balances Coming Within 10 Days

(PCB) – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar participated today in the Amrit Mahotsav concluding ceremony organized by the Satara District Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. While addressing the attendees, he mentioned that the bank has completed 75 years. He expressed his hope that the bank continues to perform well and that no harm befalls it. Ajit Pawar noted that the bank has received over a hundred awards, which is a matter of great satisfaction.

He highlighted that the bank was established with the welfare of farmers in mind. "We have waived farmers' electricity bills. We are continually working to ensure good prices for agricultural products. We have provided a subsidy of ₹7 per liter for milk," he informed the audience.

Ajit Pawar assured the farmers, "In the coming 10 days, your past bills will be zero, and your current bill will also be zero." He also attended the inauguration ceremony of the Shivshrishti project in Yeola, Nashik, today.
