A scrap collector was robbed by two unknown individuals who pretended to be police officers. They threatened him with a knife and obtained his Google Pay password, transferring $620. This incident occurred on September 10 in Jadhavwadi, Chikhli.

Ramsevak Tihul Sahani (24 years old, resident of Chikhli) filed a complaint at the Chikhli police station regarding this incident. Accordingly, a case has been registered against the two unidentified individuals.

The Incident

According to police reports, the complainant works in scrap collection. On September 10, while he was collecting scrap near Dwaraka Nagari Society, he was sitting on the sidewalk when two unknown individuals arrived on a motorcycle. They claimed to be police officers. Then, showing him a knife, they demanded his Google Pay password. When the complainant refused to provide the password, the assailants assaulted him with the knife. After this, the complainant gave them his Google Pay password, and the assailants transferred $620 to various accounts from his account. The Chikhli police are currently investigating the case.
